i just migrated back to dreamwidth because livejournal began to block their own users from accessing our own pages
we are a technology at war, and i don't see any simple solutions
the landscape is changing too fast for me as a user to keep up with it
but this is of course what 'they' want, is to confuse the hell out of us until we give up
LJ is now fully russian and excluding international users by way of their government bank controlled Sber ID to pay or update or register
LJ is no longer welcoming foreigners
a handful of us that hung on til now are blocked from commenting to friends
welcome to the gulag of the internet
we are in a digital prison now
dreamwidth appears to be the last bastion for free bloggers
social media is too busy and chaotic
i think i'm done with digital media
going back to being human
